Cravyn Goodberry

Cravyn is a former member of Fieldview's major resistance force and a friend of Blitz's. Following the destruction of his town, Fieldview, Cravyn now works with his new allies from Appelton.

Appearance & Personality

Cravyn has brown eyes and short, dark hair. He is often seen in a red coat.

Despite being a notable resistance fighter, Cravyn is very easily frightened. This has lead to him pleading for his life on multiple occasions, even with friends that mean him no harm. Aside from his outward cowardice, he has a strong sense of justice and is stubbornly committed to aiding the fall of Solithia by any means necessary.

Story

Backstory

During one of Blitz's rounds of destroying Solithian Army encampments as The Hammer Elf, Cravyn and several other members of Fieldview's resistance group showed up to assist him. As a result, Cravyn managed to befriend Blitz, later joining him to celebrate Blitz's birthday. After getting extremely drunk, Cravyn let slip that he heard rumors about The Eternal Sword, sending Blitz off to find it in an abandoned fortress in Mistport.

Mistport Arc

Shortly after they parted ways, Solithian troops were sent to burn down the entirety of Cravyn's town of Fieldview to suppress any resistance fighters that remained. As the only survivor, Cravyn fled in search of safety, eventually meeting back up with Blitz and the rest of the party. He asked the party to escort him to Greenvale so he could stay with his grandmother, and the party complied. Unbeknownst to Cravyn, Anari was later forced to duel Gaius for refusing to sell out Cravyn's location.

Appelton Arc

Before long, Cravyn felt he still needed to be of help to those undermining Solithia, and set off to aid other resistance forces within the country. At some point during this period, he met with Cindy and Yukiko, and the three attempted to drive out the remaining Solithian forces in Appelton by having Yukiko impersonate The Hammer Elf. This backfired, however, and drew more of Solithia's troops to Appelton. This information was later passed on to the party, much to Blitz's distress.

Cravyn ran away once he caught sight of the party in Appel's home, but later returned once the party learned of his involvement with Cindy and Yukiko's resistance. It is unknown what Cravyn actually does to contribute to their group, but he is noted to be the least competent member.

Trivia

• Cravyn struggles to remember Blitz's name, sometimes defaulting to "Butz".
• If Anari had chosen not to protect Cravyn, the party would have had to duel Cravyn's grandmother instead of Gaius.
• As part of his new resistance group, Cravyn has learned several battle maneuvers, such as "EEEK!!" and "GET AWAY!!".
• Cravyn's class as a support fighter is a reference to the fact that he sucks.
