Appearance & Personality

Akagane is a tiny dragon with copper colored scales. Since dragons are exceedingly rare in Home, he is usually wearing a Collar of Disguise, which gives him the appearance of a maine coon cat.

Akagane is generally well-behaved and affectionate, especially with Anari. Over time, Anari has trained him to follow simple commands, fly, and attack during combat.

Story

While infiltrating the Black Talons hideout, the party came across a treasure chest containing a dragon's egg. Although she was unable to identify its true nature, Anari decided to steal this mysterious "rock".

When the party began traveling through the desert, the egg began behaving strangely, as the increased temperature allowed it to begin hatching. Shortly after reaching Sha, the party realized that Anari's "rock" was actually a dragon egg on the verge of hatching. After a hasty retreat out of town, Anari cast Burning Hands on the egg, giving Akagane the final push to hatch.

Since hatching, Anari has taken care of and trained Akagane, and he has accompanied the party on their adventures.
